There is no wrong way to make this beautiful concoction !! SO, we invite you to make if your own! Find your intuitive needs within this recipe and stir in love with every motion!
Ingredients:
4 Oranges
3 Onion
2 Cinnamon sticks
10 cloves of organic garlic, crushed or chopped
1/4 cup of Rosemary or 7 sprigs of rosemary
2 organic jalapeno peppers or 2 tbsp of red pepper flakes, chopped
Zest and juice from 2 organic lemon
1/2 cup fresh grated organic ginger root (or 2 tbsp organic ginger root powder)
1 1/2 Tbsp. organic turmeric powder
1/4 tsp. organic cayenne powder
1 cup of Water
Organic apple cider vinegar with the mother, Can use up to 32 oz and make less strong batches by mixing more after cooking.
1/2 cup of raw, local honey, or to taste
1 Tsp Black pepper
Directions:
Chop the oranges and onion into small pieces and put them in a jar.
Add cinnamon, garlic, jalapeno peppers, lemon zest, ginger root, turmeric powder, cayenne powder, rosemary and black pepper to the jar.
Add one cup of water and bring to boil for 3 min, let sit and steam for 20 min on low.
Bring to room temp while filtering out left over ingredients - or keep - up to you! Add honey and mix well.
Pour apple cider vinegar over the ingredients until the jar is full. Important not to kill "The Mother Bacteria."
Stir the mixture well, and cover the jar with a lid.
Let the mixture sit in a dark, cool place for 4-6 weeks. Or have whenever you're ready! The more bacteria, the better!
Store the fire cider in a cool, dark place.
